Hi all,
I have posted this on other forums before as well, but I suppose it doesn't hurt to post it here as well. I am searching for information on a Morgain (?) Davis and Lina Waters (?)
I am researching my family tree, starting with my Dads paternal side. My Grandpa is Will Davis born 1886 GA died 1932 in SC. I have his death certificate and to the best of my ability to make out it has his parents as Morgain Davis born unknown and Lina Water(s) born in GA. I'd be more than happy to email it to anyone who would like to see if they can make out the names better. I have been working on this for some time now. There is a Rufus Davis that has showed up a couple times around my Grandpa that I thought could be a brother or cousin born in 1894 GA. It was recommended to order his SS application, but until I know if it's his brother I'd rather spend the money on other documents if possible. If anyone recognizes these names I'd appreciate any help.
