Am Looking for any further information about the Davies family who lived in Abergele from approximately 1840?
John Davies was born in Llanelian in 1815 (married Mary Edwards from Llanfrwog, b.1813) John was a Sadler by trade and died in 1861 of Scrofulous disease of the knee.Their second son Hugh is my G-G-G-Grandfather, and was a tin-man in Abergele for the majority of his life. The tinsmithy was located on Water Street, Abergele. Hugh married Ann Davies on 24 December 1870 at Bodlondeb Methodist Church, Abergele.
