>>THURSDAY, 2 JUNE 1864<<

MILITARY ENCAMPMENT - Colonel W.A. DAVIES, commanding the 3rd Regiment, California Militia, intends to order it into an encampment on the 1st or 2d of July, to be continued over the 4th. There will probably be 9 or 10 companies in attendance. The ground selected for the purpose is between Shaw's Flat and Rosedale Ranch, Tuolumne county, and about 3 miles from Columbia and Jamestown.
