I am looking for any surviving relatives of Martin and Janet Davie (nee Johnston)of Glasgow, to inform them of the death of their youngest daughter Christine, who immigrated to Australia in 1948.

The youngest daughter of Martin and Janet Davie (nee Johnston), Christine was born in 1927 Glasgow, Scotland where she lived with her family of six in a two roomed house in Raglan street.

In 1944 at the age of 17, Christine joined the military service and served in the Middle East where she obtained the rank of lance corporal. Upon her discharge in 1948 she immigrated to Australia to start a new life and was employed by the Postmaster General as a mail sorter, at the GPO Melbourne.
