I noticed your June 20, 2001 posting on the Davies family GenForum this evening and am very excited indeed about your picture of Jane Elizabeth Davies. My husband is also descended from her and William Thomas through their oldest son John Humphrey Thomas and John's daughter Rosa Jane Thomas, my husband's grandmother. I'm hoping this e-mail address is still viable for you and that you'd be willing to e-mail that photo of the painting of Jane plus any of those anecdotal stories you mentioned.
I have some information on the family that I'd be willing to share, although I don't know how much of it you might already have. Please let me hear from you.
