For any Davies ancestors connected with Llanegwad, Andy Taylor [artdesigns@hotmail.com]provided me with a copy of parish registers and other Llanegwad documents on CD for a reasonable price.
My maternal grandfather was a William Davies, bn Llanegwad 1872. His father was Rees Davies bn about 1834 and his mother was Esther Matilda Evans. In the 1881 Census there was a brother John whom I cannot trace in other records and who was very close in age to William. Two other brothers (Henry bn 1875 and Fred bn 1877 I have other records of.) AS far as I can tell from Parish records, Rees Davies was the son of John Davies bn about 1809 and married to Ann Evans.
