So THAT's how you spell it... don't now if this is a connection but my grandfather's uncle was John Price "Jack" Davies, b. in Llanfyllin Montgomeryshire in about 1862/1865 and he and his wife Catheine Ellis were married somewhere in Wales before they moved to Ontario in the late 18-early 1900s. They had 13 children and one was named “Malvalvan”or “Mivanwy”. I see it was probably Myfanwy. Some of the children were born in Wales others in Canada...but I really do not know what became of all of them.
