Good to hear from you.
I don't think there will be any connection as my Davies ancestors came from Clun in south Shropshire 30 miles south of Shrewsbury to which they moved in second half of the 19th century.
Prees on the other hand is 15 miles north of Shrewsbury.
I have quite a few Davies notes on file so I'll paste your Davies info into it and see if I can find anything which will help.
