I am a descendant of Davis Bowen, son of Samuel and Sarah. All I had was her name, so you've already helped me. I know that Samuel came to PA from Delaware. He was known as Capt. Bowen and was an Indian fighter in the Monongahela Valley of PA. She was still living in 1830 in Fayette County, but Samuel died between 1820 and 1830. She may have been living with a son in 1840--haven't got that far with the census. Davis was already in Wisconsin by then. Ann
