Dear Dr. Davies,

My wife is a descendant of John Maurice Davies, Gent., Magistrate, of Llanfihamgel-Genau'r-Glyn, Aberystwth, Cardigan. He was born 1810 or 11 and married Jane Elizabeth ? about 1840. I have been unable to find his parents, the most likely father that I have found is a David Morgan.

I would like to find his parents and spouse. His own position (in 1881) would indicate a prominent family, but I don't know enough about searching in Wales to proceed at this point.

I appreciate any help that you can give.

Sincerely, Jim Davidson
