Scottish Davie Ancestors

I have James DAVIE, a Silversmith of Greenock, Renfrew, Scotland, married Elizabeth Halliday on 21.6.1816. He is not listed on the Greenock Census for 1841 and in 1851 Elizabeth is listed as a Widow. They had James (b 2.4.1819 Greenock, died 5.2.1898 Musk Vale, Victoria, Australia) and Samuel Ewing (b 14.7.1824 Greenock, died ?)

James DAVIE jr, a Seaman, married Jessie Taylor in Rothesay, Bute, Scotland on 25.9.1851 and migrated to Australia in 1852. All their 6 children were born in Australia. Jessie's father, Captain Daniel Taylor of Rothesay was a Ship's Captain.

Samuel Ewing DAVIE, a Watchmaker, married Catherine Campbell in Greenock on 1.1.1852. Catherine's father, Alexander Campbell was a Merchant. Samuel and Catherine remained in Scotland. I have been unable to find any children for them.

Does anybody have any connection to this DAVIE family?
