Rebecca

Although I have been working on my family tree for a number of years, it was only a year ago that I found a direct link between Christine and William & Ann Davidson.

Now you have provided another significant link to follow (that Martha was born in Aberdeen Scotland).

One would hope that Mary (born 1820) and Christine (born 1822) were also born in Aberdeen, and that William and Ann were married in Aberdeen.

There are 7 years between Martha’s birth (in 1827 in Scotland) and Alexander (born 1834 in West Canada), with Barbary born the following year 1835. Therefore there may be other children. I have been searching for possibilities.

I have information on the Davidsons from the 1851 to 1881 Census, info about their farm in Caistor Township and some additional info about Martha’s siblings and their children. If you want, I will send it to you (email me at t2g2i2@hotmail.com).

Stu
