Here is some info regarding
Lucy & Mary/Polly Davidson,
daughters of David Davidson,
who married Jenkins:
Lucy Davidson m. Robert Jenkins [s/o Gentry] 18 Dec 1826 in Halifax Co, Va.
Bondsman was Thomas Loyd/Lloyd;
[Thomas Loyd/Lloyd m. Rebecca Davidson d/o David]
minister was Rev Jno. Britton.
Mary [Polly] Daverson [Davidson] m. Gentry Jenkins [f/o Robert] 21 Dec 1818 in Halifax Co, Va.
Bondsmen were: Gentry Jenkins & Anderson Jenkins 19 Dec 1818;
minister was George Petty "who said Davison."
David Daverson certified that "Mary Daverson is of lawfull age to marry & lison [license] may be grant[ed] for the same" 18 Dec 1818.
Court oath: 19 Dec 1818 "Anderson Jenkins made oath that Mary Daverson was upwards of 21 years of age."

bc 1774 [76 in 1850] Halifax Co, VA;
d by 1860? Franklin Co, VA
m. (1) 26 Dec 1794 Halifax, VA: Susanna Hamblin,
bondsmen (parents?): Mack & Mary Hamblin
[This is probably Mack/Mackerness Hamblin & Mary Coleman]
m. (2) Mary/Polly Davidson (above)
I am a descendant of Gentry Jenkins & Susanna Hamblin,
& would be glad to supply more info on this line.
I have certified photocopies of the above records.
