DNA-Joseph Davidson-NC-AL-GA

Prior to his death, my uncle had his DNA done through the Davidson DNA project. Our earliest known ancestor is Joseph Davidson born circa 1754 of Orange County, North Carolina. My uncle's DNA markers matched a descendant of William Frederick Davidson born circa 1751 of North Carolina 25 of 25 markers. Does this mean that the connection of Joseph to Frederick is relatively close, possibly brothers? I am new to the DNA process, so I am a little confused about how to read this. My uncle was also a match of 24 of 25 markers to a descendant of Alvin Steele Davidson, who I believe is a descendant of William Frederick. My question, I guess, is how to read the DNA markers accurately. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
