My great great great grandfather was John Davidson of Georgia. He was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, by the Schuylkill River. As a boy he moved to Union District, South Carolina. He fought in the American Revolution and was injured to his hand and head. After the Rev. he moved to Georgia -- living in Greene, Morgan and Jasper Counties. He died January 15, 1853 in Jasper County. He lived to be over 90.
John Davidson had several children. I would be happy to share information about his descendants.
Purpose of this post: I am desperatly trying to find the name of his wife. I have been told they married September 1, 1701 and I think they married in Georgia. Any help would be appreciated.

The John Davidson (see above) of Jasper County, GA was the son of another John Davidson. The earliest John Davidson was born about 1728 and died in Union District, South Carolina about 1801. It is believed his wife was Tabitha Porter Davidson.
