Maybe we have a common link, maybe not, but the following might be of help anyways...
My direct line Fentress Co.,TN. ancestors William WHITEHEAD(c1809-1860's) married in 1832 to Loucinda [aka Lucy] DAVIDSON(1819-1970's) and their oldest child was a Prudence [aka Prudy] WHITEHEAD(1833-1918) who married Lewis W. HOOVER(1832-1910).
The parents of Loucinda DAVIDSON WHITEHEAD were Alexander DAVIDSON(c1778-1850's) & Martha ___________(c1788-1850's).
The name Prudence does not seem to appear in any of the early WHITEHEAD families of the Fentress and Overton Co.,TN. areas and so it seems the link stems from the DAVIDSON's.
