My grandfather, Ernest Calvin David, born in Georgia, married my grandmother, Hermila Castano David, born in Monterey, Mexico. They had 3 children, Ella, Ernest and Thelma, my mother, all are deceased. In reference to Judith David Burtz' post, Ernest was also her grandfather. I had communicated this to her many years ago, however, she chose to not respond or perhaps she didn't get my communications. If anyone has any further info on my grandfather, I would appreciate hearing from you. I believe he had brothers named Arthur, Garnet, Beauregard and William and one sister . Ernest Calvin David served in the Mexican American War, stationed in the Phillipines.
