Eliz. Davenport b. 1828, Chorley, Lancs.
Elizabeth Davenport was my 2nd great grandmother, and according to the 1881 census was born abt. 1828, in Chorley, Lancashire, England (before the current civil registration system was set in place in England...so I can't simply request her birth certificate).
I know that Elizabeth Davenport married Enos Staveley (b. 1825, Aysgarth, Yorkshire) and that their first child Alice was born in Ardwick, Manchester, abt 1856.
