Richard Davenport (c. 1640 - c. 1714) had a son named Isaak (with a "k").Isaak was born c. 1685 and died in 1767.He had a son named George (1748 - 1831) who had a son name Absolum (1775 - 1855) who had a son named Warren (1803 - 1879).That Warren Davenport is the father of Burchett Douglas Davenport.
I would absolutely love to be able to get photos of Burchett Douglas Davenport's grave in Cannon County, TN, "Davenport Cemetery," which is behind an old family home that has "No Trespassing" signs which prohibited me from driving the last few hundreds yards.
Burchett Douglas Davenport had two sons with his first wife, Barbara Peden Davenport. The oldest was Nathan, then my great-great grandfather, John William Davenport (1854 -1911, buried in the Providence Baptist Church cemetery near McMinnville, TN).John had at least one son, my great grandfather, Isaac Perry Davenport (1881 - 1927) who was murdered on July 27, 1927, and is buried at the Fuston Cemetery near McMinnville, TN.
Burchett Douglas Davenport's second wife, Deborah Willard Davenport, had the following children:Mary (1859), Sarah (1861), William (1863), James (1864), Nancy (1865), Lovey (1865), Jackson (1871), Elizabeth (1872), Horace (1873), Samuel (1875), Benjamin (1877)and Ellis (1881).That is the only Lovey Davenport I have ever run into, and I have not discovered if she and Nancy were twins or anything.
