My great-grandparents were Georg Daum and Sophia Aeh (this is how the name is spelled in our family records). According to our records George was born 18 March 1818, and Sophia was born 10 September 1818. These dates are what was listed on their immigration records, but it is possible they are incorrect. I have his parents listed as Georg Daum and Margaretha Kramer, but there is no record where this information came from - only a notation in my mother's notebook.
