I too am searching this Daughtry/Daughtery family as the daughter Sarah (sister of Joseph and James and probably Hardy) was married to my gr grandfather (James Ball Fletcher) in 1871 in Lafayette Co FL. Apparently James made it home from the war, as he is listed as married to Mary A with sister Sarah living with them in the 1870 census in Lafayette Co. FL. Sarah died before the 1880 census and I'm trying to verify that she had two children - John and Gertrude. Do you have any information about this part of the family? Thank you.
