Daughtry Family - Dooly Co, Ga to Lafayette Co, Fla

I'm looking for information on the Dooly County links to Joseph and Hardy Daughtry of Lafayette County, Florida, especially in relation to the 1850 census. Joseph, born Nov 1837 in Ga. is listed on the muster Roll of the discharged Regiment of Mounted Florida Volunteers of Captain Henry Harrington’s Company, organized at Alligator, Florida in July of 1857.

Joseph DAUGHTREY, age 19, Dooly County, GA, 6’10”, light complexion, yellow eyes, light hair, farmer (OK...6'10" and yellow eyes....???)

In 1860, Joseph is living in LaFayette County, Florida in the household of Sarah Daughtrey, born Ga abt 1807, presumably his mother. Hardy, born 1833 in Georgia is also in LaFayette County. Both enlisted in Company C, 8th Florida Infantry in 1862 in Suwannee County, Fla, and Hardy did not survive the war. Joseph married Jane Townsend and remained in Lafayette County until his death in 1904.
