Josiah D. Jenkins married Barsheba Abashia Daughtry on July 8, 1852, in Edgecombe Co., NC. I don't know if Barsheba was born a Daughtry or had a previous marriage to a Daughtry. I can find absolutely nothing about her. She was born around 1830 and died May 25, 1876. She was Josiah's second wife, and they had children: Sallie, Robert Pender, Addison, Albert Sidney, Jefferson Davis, Charlie Lee and Josephine. Does anyone know anything about Barsheba's ancestry?
