Hello: Just wondered, since DAUGHTERY is a fairly unusual surname, if there could be a connection...I dont know much abt mine ... all I know is:
JOHN D. JONES b. 1832 VA m. Sylvania SHEFFIELD, they res. in Charlton Co.GA -- recently learned that John's middle name is 'DAUGHTERY', which is supposed to be his MOTHER'S MAIDEN NAME...(I actually desc. from his brother, JETHRO J. JONES who was b. 1826/29 NC & mar. Sarah A.L. Moore of Tattnall Co.GA, they also res. Charlton Co.GA). I'd love to learn more abt this DAUGHTERY line and perhaps find others of the DAUGHTERY/JONES lines...
