William Daugherty is the son of Jardan Nathan Daugherty and Mary Henrietta Hammond. Williams 1st wife was Francis Smith she died and left one child named Belle. Williams 2nd wife was Milinda Jacks b. 9-18-1846 and died 1-29-1878 The children of Milinda and William are Rosa b. 9-27-1871 and d. 1937 She married William Alexander and had four children whose names are unknown. Harvey Daugherty b. 11-25-1872 and d.4-9-1893 he died of TB. Charles Luther b. 7-29-1874 and d. 12-?-1943. Artie Mesta b. 4-21-1874 and d.3-30-1909. Lillie H. b. 1-29-1878. Henrietta America Trout Shriver(she was married before)I know she had children by Shriver and that her husband died. That is all I know. Her children with Daugherty are: Bertie Mae b.8-26-1884 and d. 4-4-1935 she married Cahrles W. Loiry 10-18-1902.She had four children. Emma Bernice b. 3-6-1887 and d. 9-30-1956 she married Alvin Austin Loiry(brother to Charles)10-10-1910 they had 8 children. John W. Daugherty b. 7-27-1890 and d. 6-?-1924. John was found in October 1924. The story goes, he was put into the Dayton VA hospitol on June 6th. by June 9th he ws missing. His remains were found in October. He was identified by a watch given to him by his parents that was still on his arm. I have a picture of William and Henrietta and their children when the children were adults I could send it to you. Last child William Albert Daugherty b. 1-13-1893 and d. 3-21-1962 he married Helen I. Mawbray 11-2-1932. Hellen's b. 5-16-1901 and d.12-28-1972. They had no children.
