Franklin County, Arkansas, Marriage Book A Page 116:
I, Lewis B. Phillips, an acting and duly commissioned Justice of the Peace in and for the County of Franklin in the State of Arkansas do hereby certify that on this first day of October 1868 at the County of Franklin in the State of Arkansas, I did duly join in marriage John C. Barnes of Franklin County State of Arkansas aged 27 years and Emaline Daugherty of the County of Franklin State or Arkansas aged 18 years and then and there declared them to be husband and wife. Given under my hand this 17th day October 1868.
STATE OF ARKANSAS, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN.
I, James Daugherty Clerk of the Circuit Court
And EX-OFFICIO RECORDER, in and for the County and State aforesaid,
Do hereby certify, that the foregoing Marriage Certificate was this day filed in my office for record, and the same is now duly recorded in Record Book...... Page 116.
In Testimony Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of said Court, at my offie in Ozark on this 11th day of November A.D., 1868.
