My 2Xs Ggrandmother was Mary Daugherty (m. Jacob Lane). She was the d/o of James & Anna Daugherty. Mary's siblings were: James, Ferree (m. Mary Croll); Isaac (m. Magdalena Buffington); William (m. Susannah Gandee); & Frederick (m. Mathilda Bennett). If these names are familiar to you, I would like to exchange info. Sometimes, the name is also spelled as Dougherty. My Lane/Daugherty family has very strong roots in New Brighton, Beaver Co., Pa.
