I double checked. The Defiance Crescent newspaper 15 Apr 1891 has two listings under "City News" that day and Chris GOLLER and Lena DAUB were one of them. The other was Christian GOLLER and Elizabeth DAUB. I'm guessing Lena is a misprint or a nickname.
I couldn't connect my Jacob DAUB line to Adam DAUB so I never researched it too far.
