I can't get past Henry Daub. Haven't gotten any responce to my query as to either couple. Sorry I can't help. The names and places you mention don't ring any bells. As far as I can tell, my Daub line came to America sometime between 1815 and 1833.... depending on what bio or history you read. Henry Daub's marriage to Miss Shiesler was about 1822 and probably in Germany. His son, Jacob was born 1 Dec 1823. On the 1870 census he states he was born in Darmstadt. I don't know if Jacob meant the city of Darmstadt or the county in the state of Hessen.
