Hi George
Thanks for the reply--- andthe info to check my profile
This might not do anything for you but it's worth a try if you still have your originally emails from genealogy.com when you bought the subscription ( I can't findthe one for this year unfortunately so I can't try it))--one letter has a confirmation number and one has a direct link for you to access your new subscription immediately ( with no log in as I recall)
try them both-- on the main page in the upper right hand corner it ask for an activation code... perhaps if you put the confirmation number in that, it would work ( try logged in and not logged in ).. it's worth a try butyou might have to clear your cache, restart the computer, turn off the firewall and antivirus etc
Also I'm assuming that you had been able to access yournew accountat least once since youbought itand that you just started having problemsyesterday... if youhaven't been able to access your account at all since you bought it then you might have other problems such as Cookies are not enabled.. the anti-virus program / firewall won't let it work ( comethru ), your security settings on the internetfor the browser are so high , it won't letyou in...I spent 16 hours one time ( abt 5 yrs ago) trying to change my computer settingsso I could access my subscription... it was working just fine the day before and then wouldn't work the next day and we hadn't changed anything ... everyone on this newsgroupwho tried to help said it was a problem on my end and I tried everything they suggested but as you can tell nothing helped since it took16 hours-- this was way back when you could access yourgenealogy. com subscription thrua link in your FTMprogram... never did figure out what I did to finally make it work.. I just kept trying everything they said
