Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Tom,

Lets take them one by one:

1) What is the URL (Internet Address) of your User Home Page? What happened, EXACTLY, when you last Updated your User Home Page from within the Family Tree Maker program?

Are you still using Version 5?

2) The Web Search Feature is NOT available in Version 5.0. The Web Search Feature wasn't introduced until Version 2005 (about 6 versions later). Version 5 using the Online Subscriptions at Genealogy.com, while 2005 uses the Online Subscriptions at Ancestry.com.

Not sure, exactly, what you mean by The World Deluxe Subscription. Is that the World Family Tree at Genealogy.com or a online subscription at Ancestry.com.

With out knowing, for sure which version of Family Tree Maker you are using and what Online Subscriptions you might have, can't go further with #2.

3) There is a very simple way to contact Technical Support. If you click on ?Help at the top of this page, there is an Email Genealogy.com tab for you to use. Pretty straight forward.

4) What Family Tree did you Post and where? Are you talking about your User Home Page? As in #1, I can get a little more detail when I get a look at your User Home Page. Simply, a Name must be in one of the Online Reports or Books or GEDCOM (Internet Trees) to be found in a search. And, it usually takes a while for the search engine to see changes.
