There were many DaSilvas in British Guiana...many either migrated but they were caught up in riots and uprisings since they prospered very quickly and succeeded with great vigour. Even the British Colonial Administration were astonished by their quick success. Thus their descendents are scattered all over the world. They really came from book by Sr. Maria Fereira which is difficult to get, tells the story.
