I am looking for information on Mary's marriage to Moses McCarty. They were married in 1841 in OH and then moved to IN. They had a family which most of the children died except for two girls. We had thought Mary had died as well then to find her death date at 1901 instead of 1859ish as we had thought has brought up some questions. Were they divorced? Moses then married Elizabeth Cummins in 1865 in IN. They moved to Nebraska.
This is taken from the cemetery record for Pleasant Hill Cemetery, located
in Randolph Co., Jackson Twp. INdiana. This cemetery is located next the
the Jay/Randolph county line (Madison Twp. of Jay County.)

was I, As I am now, you soon must be, Prepare for death and follow me."
McCarty, Jonas W. November 24, 1859 Aged 3y 8m
McCarty, S.J. died November 28, 1859, aged 9y 8m 10d. "Weep not for me dear (Sarah J??)
mother. All is well, All is well."
McCarty, Fasta R. died November 25, 1859, aged 12 years 5 days. "Weep not for me dear mother. All is well. All is well."
McCarty, Nissordrie, 1859, aged 1y 9m 20d.
McCarty, John e. December 26, 1859, aged 3y, 6m, 25d
McCarty, Mary, Born December 26, 1822, died June 3, 1901, aged 78y 5m 7d.
It is interesting to note that these people are all buried in a line with a
Nathan Darst, 8 year of son of Wm, and Barbara who died in 1860 buried
between John E. and Mary.
In the next row behind these is Wm and Barbara Darst., Mary Elizabe Ault and
then the two children of M.& E, McCarty.
Hope someone can help me clear this up!!
