Thanks for the response, Angie. Do you have a picture of the old sawmill. I'm most interested in telling the story of what the town used to be with pictures and the saw and feed mill was an important part. If you can attach pictures to e-mails, I can print them or I can scan pictures and send them back--however you'd want. I'd like any stories or tales your family might have in connection with the town, especially the sawmill, but I'd be limited in including genealogy for all families. I knew Girton's owned the sawmill and didn't know of others, so that chain of ownership and any history would be good.
