You won't receive info on Jacob C. Darst from the DAR
because he didn't fight in the American Revolution.
Jacob Darst was born in 1793. He was involved as an Indian
scout in Missouri and was a person of great adventure and
fighting spirit like so many others during that period of
time.
There is quite a bit of info available on him from the
Daughters of the Republic of Texas (that may not be the
exact title, but close). Get on the web and go to the Alamo
site and other similar sites and you get relevent
information.
