I am not related and only trying to help. I checked the 1900, 1910 and 1920 census and found John with his family. In the 1930 census only his siblings are found.
New Britain City Directories prior to 1930 have John listed as a clerk and last as a foreman for Stanley Works.
John is absent from the 1930 and 1931 directories. Beginning in 1932 dierctory John E. Darrow is listed as a physician with his office at suite 610, at 55 W. Main St. His home was at 35 West End St.
In the 1964 directory he is listed with wife Margaret M. with his office now expanded in suites 605-607 at 55 W. Main St. and home at 35 W. End St.
I do not know when he married Margaret. Writing to Hartford County may be able to identify her if they can locate a marriage license.
