I have been researching Darrows for a number of years, including the TN branch. In fact, that branch was so large I separated it out into another book.
To answer your question, Joseph Dorris (1825-1881) was the son of Christopher (1796-1848) and Nancy Binkley. Christopher was the son of Benjamin (1762-1847).
There are two manuscripts I used for reference, but don't know if either are still available.
I'd love to swap information with you if you're so inclined.
