I am searching for information on a Russell Darrow born Abt. 1782 Herkimer New York?? (so I have been told) moved to Ohio prior to 1804. He was listed as a school teacher in Palmer Washington County Ohio in 1804, in 1806, he married Catherine Eveland on April 10 in Washington Co. Ohio. She was the daughter of Fredrick Eveland. THey had 4 children Elizabeth,Lois,Matilda & Elias. The family moved to Morgan County Ohio, and in 1815 Russell passed away in Deerfield Morgan County OHio. His wife re-married James Frisby and the family moved to McLean County Illinois.
I am trying to locate any siblings or ancestors of Russell, if any one knows of any Darrows about the same age & living in ohio at about the same time I would sure love to hear from them. ANy input would be greatfully appreciated, I have run out of places to look for Russell, and have found no more information on him. I know he didn't just appear in Ohio in 1804 he must have traveled there with some family. Hope to hear from someone soon, he has been a big family mystery for about 50 years.
