George Darrow from Scotland (possibly Isle of Jura - Sept MacDonald Clan) and Lancashire, England. Married widow Mary Shorewood. 2nd wife Elizabeth Marshall (m. 1702) George died 1704. Settled New London, Conn 1676. Pressed aboard British Man Of War, jumped in Cuba, Stowaway on U.S. vessel to New London.

His Brother Thomas and wife Anne to Northumberland Co., Virginia 1652.

Pressage into service was akin to kidnapping at times. Check info on British Naval Site.
