Sorry, yahoo email is down today.
My father's info states that George's parents left the "Isle of Jure" (Jura?) and settled in England. George was pressed into service aboard and English ship. He jumped ship in Cuba, Stowed away on an "American" ship ( this was pre revolution). got caught and ended up working his way to America. I got in touch with the store owner on Jura and he made enquries of his customers about the Darrow's to no avail. There are Darrochs there. Linda Reuter found a reference to Darrow's from northern Scotland that Physically match the description of the Darrow men I have known (Big).
