Guy

I was the first to prove Benjamin Darrow from Ct. My daughter went into the DAR under him several years ago.

I learned from this forum just a couple of days ago that his wife was a Binkley. The DAR records verified the wife so I guess someone else used the line later. Then I checked out Elizabeth Binkley's father and grandfather on the online patriot index and they are rev war soldiers also. Adam was pensioned and he is also listed in the index to the applications for pension. That pretty well verifies the Binkley line. I have worked on the Darrow line for years and I have not been able to prove Benjamins parents. I thought at one time it might be Christopher too but it was only a guess. My husband goes through Benjamins son James W. Darrow who married Marinda Morris. I wish I knew who her parents were. Benjamin Darrow served as a Private. Lived New London, CT. Pensioned. Born 1762 CT. Died after 1840 census of Dickson Co., TN. Wife: name unknown.
You can find my husbands lines on my personal web page at
