I live in Niantic CT. Our town records show a Jason Darrow age 40 maried Abby Lester age 30 married on 4/3/1871. They had a son named Merton who was born in 1879, he married Hattie Clark on 10/7/03. My great grandfather was Isreal Darrow, his father was listed as Jason Darrow, but mother was Esther Smith. Because of Jason's late age when he married Abby Lester, I wonder if she was his 2nd wife, and Esther was his first?
