Linda: Well, five months later I discovered your message about G.W. Darrow. About all I have on my side of the Darrows is what I put on my original message. G. W. Darrow's death certificate says he was born on December 18, 1847 in Tenn. It also says his father was G. W. Darrow also born in Tenn. I have learned not to trust this information as my family seemed fairly flippant about the information they gave. Sadie (Shara) was born Novebmer 02, 1876 in Mr. Vernon, Ill. I don't have any information about any siblings. She married Thomas Crawford Blair sometime before 1900. They lived in Kansas City where my father (youngest of four)was born in 1907. Around 1920 they they moved to Calfironia. G. W. went with then to California as he died in Oroville CA in 1939. I have pictures of Sadie, and also have pictures of G. W. and his wife (who's name I do not know). If you want to send me your e-mail address I will send you the pictures. If the G. W.'s parents you mentioned were married in 1843 then they could have had G.W. around 1847 and that would fit, and as you mentioned my gmother Sadie could be named after G.W.'s sister. This looks interesting to me so let's stay in touch. Have you run across the name "Delmas" in any of your Darrow research? That was my father's middle name and I have never seen it anywhere else. Could be a clue to a relative connection. Thanks for your response and sorry I just got back to you. Howard Blair
