Abi(a) “Nabby” - b. 28 May 1770/18 Oct 1773, New London, CT[1,6b,29,34c,70,93b2,110,120,126,172]; d. 15 Aug 1827/1830,[110,120,172] _________ m. Elder Peter Rogers, 15 Mar/May 1789, New London, CT[6b,70,110,120,126,168,172] Abi’s husband, Peter Rogers, was an Elder in their church. Heulson indicates Abi and Joseph [Page 85] were twins, born 18 Oct 1773. Peter Rogers, son of Peter and Grace (Harris) Rogers, was born 1 Jul 1755, New London, CT, and died 5 Mar 1849, Waterloo, IL. One source shows Peter with a first marriage to Nancy (Anna) Green, b. Jul 1782, and a third marriage to Martha Pelkam, 30 Sep 1830. Abi and Peter had thirteen children, all born in New London, CT: (1)Nancy, b. 10 Aug 1790, d. 1827[?], m. first Calvin Johnston (had son Calvin Roger Johnston, 1822-1897), m. second _____ Bullard, m. third _____ Parkhurst, and m. fourth Samuel How[...]; (2)Zadock, b. 21 Apr 1792, m. _____ Whistler; (3)Esther/Hester, m. Ruggles Bagg, b. 9 Jun 1794 (had daughter Hester Maria, m. Field Wells Cushman); (4)Emory Peter, b. 28 Feb 1796, m. first Mary Miller, m. second Eunice Ashley (Hand/Ward) Rogers (possibly widow of Emory’s brother Lemuel, #7 below) (and had daughter, Mary), m. third Caroline (Robinson) Hardy; (5)Grace, b. 24 Aug 1797, m. Isaac Stark; (6)John, b. 1 Apr 1799, d. 1859, m. 1823 Esther R. Atwell (1801-1839); (7)Lemuel, b. 5 Nov 1801, m. Eunice Hand (1809-1851) (see also Lemuel’s brother, Emory Peter); (8)Abigail, b. 29 Jan 1803, m. Isaac Bennett; (9)Uriah, b. 10 Jun 1805, d. 3 Jan 1807, New London; (10)Sally, b. 16 Apr 1807, m.
