My wife's 3rd great grandfather was Daniel Darragh. He and his family emigrated to Canada about 1842 and then to Pennsylvania about 1855. The family changed the name to Darrah in the next generation.

Family history says they were from County Sligo, but I cannot confirm.

They were defiantly Irish Catholics. Talk of them being Scottish or Presbyterian would have many generations rolling in their graves!
