Yes, that was a hard one to find. It took months to find David. But he is the key to the rest of my family tree. This is the line. First Thomas, Londonderry Ireland...about 1660. He had two sons, Charles and Thomas, born 1690. They both had wives and children in Ireland and then moved here to the states. Charles had a son named Robert and so did Thomas, which is confusing. Robert (from Charles) married twice, Eunice Blood's children are where my ancestors come from. Robert and Eunice had David, born 1765, who married Sally Gillis. David's children are samuel, betsey, jonathon, robert 1797, charles, and (Hiram 1804 who is my ggggrandfather. Hiram had (Samuel Charles) who is my gggrandfather born 1849, who married Eunice Gilland. They had Frank, my grandfather, and also William, Edith, Sylvia, and Freddie. Frank and wife Mary Baker, had James, Edward, Clarissa. James is my father. Somewhere, they changed the last name Darrah to Darrow. I'm finding Hiram Darrah and Darrow records. That's what made it hard to find David. I believe they are related to the Darrows in the census where I see them living right next to each other, but can't make the connection yet. My dad told me a long time ago that Clarence Darrow was an Uncle of sorts, but I can't figure it out yet. Hiram is buried in Traverse City Michigan, but David is buried in a different town. They remained in Traverse City for several decades, and have pics of the headstones. There are still cousins living there. Hope that helps, if you need any other info, let me know.
