I am seeking information from anyone descending from John Patrick Darrah and Catherine Naughton/Naughten from Washington, PA.
John was born in County Antrim, Ireland in 1826, son of William Darrah and Jennie McMuller. Children included Archibald, Alexander, George, John, John Patrick William, Annie (married Michael Parker) and Mary.
John came to America in 1843 with his brother George, first landing in Montreal, then to Buffalo, then Pittsburgh, then Washington, PA.
I believe I am related to John's wife Catherine Naughton/Naughten. A bio states that she was born in Galway and her family had come to Washington County, PA where her brother John Naughton was an early settler (John I feel is my g-g-grandfather).
John/Catherine Darrah had 7 children: George B., Alexander E., John R. Alexander, Robert Emmet, Jennie F. and Anna M.
Catherine died August 2, 1889 in Washington, PA.
