James Linton Darrah b. 1843, d. 21 Oct. 1911 in Chipman, NB Canada; m. Letitia Jane Linton 28 Aug. 1868.
James is my great grandfather whose father, James, immigrated from Ireland (Scotch-Irish)to N.B. Canada in 1827 along with several brothers and sisters.
The New Brunswick Provincial Archives has several documents you might be interested in obtaining:
. Darrah family genealogical collection (from church records) 26 pp. CAIN No. 160224 This collections lists all the Darrahs in Chipman Parish for marriage, death, birth, etc. It is a treasure of a source.
. Marriage Bond - bond #284
You can reach the NBPA at archives.gnb.ca on the internet. They are very responsive to sharing their holdings and at a very reasonable price.
