In Reply to: Anyone know children of Aden Eason/Martha Darnell by Nancy A. (Eason) Bellman of 1827

Spellings and dates are as shown on Census Records

Madison Co., MO, October 8, 1850
Aden Esen 48, M, N C
Martha Esen 31, F, TN
Polly Esen 13, F, KY, Blind
Malvina Esen 10, F, KY
Elizabeth Esen 8, F, MO
Eliza Esen 6, F, MO
Sarah Esen 3,F, MO
Aden Esen 4/12, M, MO

Michael Township, Madison Co., MO 4th day June, 1860
Martha Eason 40, F, Farming TN
Mary Eason 24, F, Daughter, KY, Blind
Elizabeth Eason 18, F, Daughter, Domestic, MO
Eliza Eason 15, F, Daughter, MO
Sarah Eason 13, F, Daughter, MO
Aden Eason 10, M, Son, MO
Cordelia Eason 4, F, Daughter, MO
NOTE: The names Mary & Polly seem interchangable. I've never understood that. Sarah on 1850 & Jane on 1860 must be same person.
Since the youngest child is 4, Aden Sr. must have died or whatever after 1855.

Goman (I think) Township, Madison Co, MO 19 June 1880
Smith Louis W, M, 22, Husband, Buses ? Coal MO
Smith, Laura V, W, F, 16, Wife, Keeps House, MO
Eason, Aden W, M, 30, Father ? , (looks like) Teamster, MO, NC, TN
Eason, Henry ?(Kenny) B., W, M, 4, Son MO, MO, IN
Eason, Martha W, F, 60, Mother, TN
Diamon, William A. W, M, 16, Nephew IL
NOTE: Here again--census takers were not always the best. Don't know why Aden is listed as Father--he isn't old enough to be father of Laura. Henry--or Kenny B. probably is your Benjamin--he is the correct age.
I could not find 1870 Census with them on it or any after 1880.
Hope this will help some.
