Ann Mary Seon Dunscombe married Joseph Darling Ibbotson
in 1868.They had children:Edward Dunscomb Ibbotson, born 1873, Otsego, New York.Edward partnered with Horrock
to form the Horrock-Ibbotson Company in Utica, New York.
They made fishing equipment and other hardware. Ann Mary and Joseph also had a son named the same as his father, Joseph Darling Ibbotson. He was born in 1877.He had theological training and was ordained, but instead of preaching preferred to be a professor of Greek, Hebrew, and Latin at HamiltonCollege in New York.He also was the long-time Head Librarian there, and was influential in establishing other libraries in the State of New York.
His star pupil was the poet, Ezra Pound.I am not sure about the Frith connection -- I do know there was a connection, but I'm not sure about the cousin question.
